In its third year, our annual Platinum Crew Club Golf Day has gone from strength to strength. With a record number of attendees from 13 different Superyachts the day was filled with some great golf (and some really bad golf), some good laughs, great food and an opportunity for our Superyacht crews to take the day off and connect with each other.
Event sponsors Heart of the Reef Shuttles picked up the Platinum Crew Club members from the marina mid-morning and it was clear by some of the outfits boarding the bus that the teams meant business! From cowgirls to cats, hippies to Barbies the outfits this year were arguable the best yet.
Crew were briefed on arrival at Whitsunday Green by club experts, then it was onto the green for a highly competitive 9-holes before lunch.
A delicious BBQ lunch was served on the deck at the clubhouse for all to enjoy, followed by lively presentations for the Best on Ground (DeLilse III), Best Dressed (Aura/ Sweet Caroline), Best Team (Pops) and Worst Team (Searaes).
After lunch, the closest to the pin competition was once again hotly contested, with the ultimate winner being Captain Sam from yacht Aura!
